San Francisco Giants fans in Sacramento can get free tickets to the SF Giants FanFest taking place at Sutter Health Park this Saturday. Speaking of playing ball on the field, Girls Own The Field will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
At the time of this article’s publication, free tickets are still available for the SF Giants FanFest. The soccer session is at full capacity for Girls Own The Field, but sign-ups are still available for lacrosse and field hockey.

The Sacramento Zoo will have Species in the Spotlight on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 9am to noon. Zebras and hornbills will be the animals in the spotlight. Kids can create a Grevy’s zebra mask, hornbill bracelet, and get a zebra trading card.
The California Automobile Museum premieres their newest exhibit about Route 66 on Saturday, January 31, 2026. To celebrate the newest exhibit, there will be kids’ activities, music, and food from a local vendor from 11am to 3pm. Event is included with regular museum admission.
