I’m a mom of two energetic boys and the creator of Sactown Supermom, a go-to resource for family-friendly things to do in Sacramento.
Our family loves exploring all the best activities in Sacramento and the surrounding area from local playgrounds and hidden gems to seasonal events and day trips. Some of our favorite nearby destinations for family adventures include San Francisco and Lake Tahoe.
We fell in love with Sacramento on our very first visit. Between the natural beauty, seasonal weather, incredible food scene, and endless things to do with kids, it quickly felt like home. After five years in Southern California, we made the move. We couldn’t be happier raising our boys in this family-friendly city.
