Spring in Sacramento is still going strong, with tons of outdoor festivals and fun things to do with kids. May is National Bike Month, and this month, there are several family-friendly biking events in Folsom, West Sacramento, and Safetyville USA.
Foodies will want to venture to Yolo County for BerryFest Strawberry Festival in Woodland. Speaking of berries, it’s prime u-pick strawberry season, and these are the best places to go strawberry picking near Sacramento.
The Sacramento County Fair takes place over five days in May and is a nice warm-up to the California State Fair, later this year.
