Free Halloween Events in Sacramento for Kids 2025
The free Halloween Extravaganza & Costume Parade takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2025 in North Highlands. There will be a pumpkin patch, hands-on activities and crafts, a costume contest, and more.
Boo Bash on Candy Lane takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Citrus Town Center. This free Halloween event will have a Candy Lane, face painting, balloon twisting, an interactive performance by The Science Wizard, slime making, and a surprise character appearance.
Participate in free Halloween fun at Tree Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Cache Creek Nature Preserve. There will be candy stations, face painting, games, and more. Halloween costumes are encouraged. Bring candy bags, flashlights, and bug spray. While this is a free event, pre-registration is required.
Kids can participate in Trunk ‘r Treat on Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Mahany Fitness Center in Roseville before Friday Flicks. Come in costume and enjoy trick-or-treating from 5:30-7pm before the family-friendly movie Casper begins playing at 7pm.
