A free Oki Park Food Truck Night + Outdoor Movie will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026. Food trucks will be on-site from 5pm to 8pm. A movie will follow beginning at 8pm. Bring blankets and chairs.

The Sacramento Children's Museum celebrates the role grandparents play at their annual Butterfly Release on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Butterflies are limited and purchasing in advance is required. This will be an outdoor event that will include art projects, activities, vendors, and more. Butterflies are locally sourced and released back into the wild at the event.
Rocklin will honor those who serve on Sunday, September 13, 2026 with a free, family-friendly Patriot Day event at Johnson-Springview Park. There will be a Kidz Zone with rock climbing, a bounce house, face painting, magician, clown, and more. Kids can even get fingerprinted.
