$66The annual California Capital Airshow returns to Sacramento sooner than usual on Saturday & Sunday, October 10 & 11, 2026 at Mather Airport. The United States Air Force Thunderbirds & RCAF Snowbirds will perform at this year’s show. Expect high-flying aerobatics, aircraft displays, and interactive exhibits. This event is very family-friendly and includes STEM-focused activities and the opportunity to get close to interesting aircraft.
Kids ages 15 and under are free with an adult admission. Parking gates open at 12pm each day while flying performances begin at 3:30pm. The United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds will fly at approximately 4:30 and 5:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday. No tickets will be sold on-site.
The California Capital Airshow is one of the best events in Sacramento for kids in October.
