Meet the Machines drives into Rancho Cordova on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Hagan Community Park. This free touch-a-truck event will have over 20 machines and vehicles for families to check out. There will be additional activities such as games, giant slides, and more.
Turtle Travels is a brand-new exhibit opening at the Sacramento Children's Museum in Rancho Cordova on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The exhibit will consist of a giant game board that will require interactive stations. Turtle Travels will be on exhibit through January 17, 2027.
Kids can trick-or-treat at the Sacramento Children's Museum on October 31, 2026 on Halloween morning. This free favorite Halloween event for kids is a fun way to start Halloween day. While the event is free, gently used or new book donations are requested for admission. Advance registration is also required (and this event will fill up!).
