Celebrate Folsom's 80th Birthday Celebration at a free community party on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Folsom City Lions Park. There will be entertainment, carnival games, and lots of family fun. The 1st 500 youth guests will also get free entry to the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary.

Wild Nights and Holiday Lights returns to the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary in December 2025. The zoo is transformed into a holiday wonderland with tons of twinkling lights. The Folsom Valley Railway miniature train also provides nighttime rides through holiday lights.

The Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary will be buzzin' on Saturday, August 16, 2025 for Honey Bee Day. Kids can participate in bee-themed activities while learning about pollinators. There will also be live bee demos. Stop by the honey tasting tables, and don't forget to pick up a jar of honey harvested at the Folsom Zoo.
