This event is for ages 0-5 years old and registration is required to receive free giveaways.
Celebrate Earth Day at Fairytale Town on Saturday, April 18, 2026 for a fun day of eco-friendly festivities from gardening activities, sustainable crafts, cooking demos, games, shows, and vendors.

Celebrate Mr. Rogers and his legacy at Won't You Be My Neighbor Day on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Fairytale Town. Activities will take place inside the Story Center from 11am to 1pm and will include storytime, crafts, and a puppetry workshop.
Fairytale Town will have a kid-friendly St. Patrick's Day Celebration on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 10am to 2pm. Kids can participate in a scavenger hunt to search for a pot of gold. There will also be crafts. Don't forget to wear your green!
Parents can drop off kids ages 4-12 for a Mad Tea Party-themed night of fun and activities at Fairytale Town on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 5-9pm. Kids will get to do activities, crafts, games, have dinner, and watch a movie while making new friends and participating in entertaining activities.
Fairytale Town will have a Festival of Colors Celebration on Saturday, March 7, 2026. There will be rangoli art, a dance party, and a color powder throw at 12pm. It's recommended to wear white clothing for the color throw and all color powder is non-toxic and skin-safe.
A Lunar New Year celebration will occur at Fairytale Town in Land Park on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Kids can enjoy storytime inside the Story Center and participate in crafts.
Fairytale Town will turn into a Winter Wonderland from December 6-7 and 13-14, 2025. Expect a festive atmosphere with holiday-themed crafts and story times in the Story Center, a holiday scavenger hunt, games, and photo ops with Santa Claus and the Grinch. Holiday lights will dazzle visitors beginning at dusk and a nightly snowfall will occur at 6pm near the Mother Goose stage.
A Day of the Dead Celebration will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Fairytale Town. There will be face painting, stories, and crafting sugar skull masks. Families can add mementos to the ofrenda. A special dance performance will take place at 12pm and 1:30pm.
Start off Halloween morning with a spooky dance party at Fairytale Town on Friday, October 31, 2025. There will be trick-or-treating and a scavenger hunt on Halloween.
Safe & Super Halloween at Fairytale Town will occur over two weekends from October 11-12 & 17-19, 2025. This beloved Land Park locale will transform into the world of Auradon and the Isle of the Lost. Kids will get to trick-or-treat and participate in interactive activities.
Kids ages 4-15 can participate in the Dignity Health Dirty Kid Obstacle Race at Fairytale Town on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Obstacles over and through Fairytale Town's notable play structures will be a whole new way to experience this beloved Land Park attraction.

The Tales & Ales Brewfest will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Fairytale Town. Adults can enjoy beverages from local craft brews, wineries, and cideries, while kids can enjoy root beer floats and hands-on activities. This is an all ages event. Food trucks will be on-site.
The Sacramento County Office of Education will host a free Family Fun & Playfest on Saturday July 26, 2025 at Fairytale Town. Note that RSVPs are full for this event. However, families are still welcome to attend, they may just not receive educational materials or food without a registration.
An all-you-can-eat Crystal ice cream fantasy awaits during the evening of Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Fairytale Town. It will be a Midsummer Night's Dream of ice cream combined with a comedic Shakespeare play.
