Along the way, they will discover various impactful career opportunities.
In addition to applying for YELC, campers are required to participate in two volunteer events with partner organizations, such as creek cleanups or tree plantings, and raise a minimum of $40 for an organization. Lastly, campers will need to make brief presentations to their fellow campers and parents in early December about their experience. This program is more than just a week-long summer camp.
