Peek-a-Boo Factory Rancho Cordova: An Indoor Playground for Kids in Sacramento
Peek-a-Boo Factory in Rancho Cordova is the newest indoor playground to open in the Sacramento Area, adding to the ever-growing list of best indoor playgrounds in Sacramento for kids.
This colorful, three-story indoor playground is a dream come true for parents when the weather is too hot or rainy in Sacramento. Kids of all ages can release pent-up energy by climbing, sliding, and playing in a safe, enclosed space.
Peek-a-Boo Factory is a popular indoor playground in the Bay Area. Its Rancho Cordova location marks its first location in the Sacramento Area. This new indoor playground is also a welcome addition to the many fun things to do in Rancho Cordova with kids. It’s very close to the Sacramento Children’s Museum, and you could easily combine both outings on the same day.

What is the age range for Peek-a-Boo Factory?
One of the best things about Peek-a-Boo Factory is its suitability for a wide range of ages. Peek-a-Boo Factory is ideal for children ages 0-12. There’s a Toddler Area for younger kids, and a timed Ninja Course for older kids.
Having brought my one-year-old and three-year-old, both kids had a great time, but it was more accessible for my three-year-old, who was able to climb and slide independently, while my one-year-old required more supervision. That said, there was plenty of play equipment to keep my little guy busy. He’ll love this place even more when he’s a tad older.
What to Expect at Peek-a-Boo Factory
To say it will be challenging to get kids to leave Peek-a-Boo Factory is quite an understatement. This indoor playground is large and is a three-story play structure. Each corner of the colorful play structure has something for kids to climb or interact with as they wander through each level. There are various slides from tunnel slides at the very top to two red and yellow side-by-side slides that kids can race down. Kids of all ages will think this place is spectacular, and it will definitely tire them out!

Awesome Features at Peek-a-Boo Factory
There are several indoor playgrounds in Sacramento, and the list continues to grow. So what makes Peek-a-Boo Factory stand out? From a Mario wall to arcade games, here’s what you can expect at this indoor play space.
Super Mario Obstacle Course

One of the coolest features at Peek-a-Boo Factory in Rancho Cordova is the moving Super Mario wall. Kids can climb boxes and cylinders attached to a wall. Things also move on the wall, creating fun and challenging obstacles to see if kids can successfully climb across.
Older kids familiar with Super Nintendo games who have more physical capabilities will appreciate this unique component. I’ve been to my fair share of indoor playgrounds, and this is the first time I’ve ever seen a moving Mario wall! If kids fall off one of the obstacles, there’s a soft, giant landing pad for them to fall safely on.
Timed Ninja Fitness Course

Another unique component at Peek-a-Boo Factory is a timed Ninja Fitness Course. Kids can challenge their friends or siblings to see who can get the fastest time on the course and live out their Ninja Warrior dreams. My three-year-old was able to do most of the obstacles on the course, though he approached each one cautiously.
Like the Mario wall, the timed Ninja Course is probably a little better for older kids. There’s a button at the start of the course to begin the timer, and one to stop the timer after completing the course.
Toddler Area

Younger kids will appreciate the Toddler Area on the ground level, below the play structure. One of the main things that will attract kids is a large magic drawing screen. Children can digitally color in items like fish and sea creatures and then see them come to life, swimming through coral.
Although the interactive screen is in the Toddler Area, kids of all ages will love it. There are other items in the Toddler Area, such as interactive wall toys for kids to engage with.
While not directly in the Toddler Area, there is a smaller play structure for younger kids to climb into and slide down that looks like a honeycomb. If smaller kids are a little shy about the mega three-story play structure, this smaller structure is a good alternative for them. It’s also right next to a soft carousel that they may also enjoy.
Arcade Games & Rides

When kids want to catch their breath, there are a variety of arcade games they can play on the ground floor. There’s an air hockey table, as well as some games similar to Whack-a-Mole. However, these games are not free and are an additional cost. The costs vary for each arcade game.
In addition to the arcade games, there are a handful of coin-operated kiddie rides, like the kind you might find in a shopping mall that move back and forth for a few seconds.
Princess Room

Kids who love all things pink and princesses will appreciate the Princess Room. In addition to an enchanting room for birthday parties, princesses regularly visit Peek-a-Boo Factory for meet and greets with the kids.
The Princess Room is on one side of the room, and the other side of the room has a glowing sensory floor (when it’s activated). Kids can step around on an ocean scene and see fish move in real-time underneath their feet.
Birthday Parties
In addition to the Princess Room, there’s another private room also available for birthday parties. This spot would definitely be a prime location for birthday parties in Sacramento for kids.
