  • Zombie Bike Parade in Davis

    Community Park 203 East 14th Street, Davis, CA

    The annual Zombie Bike Parade takes place on Sunday, October 26, 2025 in Davis, starting at Community Park. This is a family-friendly event that includes a bike ride and free festival! Dressing up like a zombie or in Halloween costumes is encouraged. The Zombie Bike Parade will be a bike route from Community Park to Mace Ranch Park and back at under 5 miles from 11:30am to 1pm. Community Park will have a free festival with various kids' activities at zombie stations. A BMX stunt show and zombie skydiving finale are also highlights of the event.

    Family Fall Festival takes place on Sunday, October 26, 2025 near the entrance of River Bend Park in Sacramento. This free fall festival will have nature walks, live music, arts and crafts, a live animal show, and more. Free lunch and beverages will also be provided.

    Participate in Boo Clues on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the Sacramento Zoo where you'll go on a spooky scavenger hunt throughout the zoo. Note that this is not a trick-or-treating event. There will be free carousel rides, free mini donuts, and check out animal enrichment with pumpkins.

    As part of the Family Series at the B Street Theatre, Never Fear, Shakespeare! will premiere on the stage from October 12-26, 2025. The family-friendly theater show runs for 1 hour and 15 minutes with an intermission. Show is for ages 5+.

  • Community Ofrenda Workshop and Display

    Recreation Center 6040 Watt Ave, North Highlands, CA

    Celebrate Día de los Muertos on Monday, October 27, 2025 at the Recreation Center in North Highlands at a free family-friendly event. There will be workshops for sugar skulls, papel picado, and more. The Recreation Center will also have an ofrenda from October 27 - November 3, 2025 that the community can add flower and photos to honor loved ones.
