The Original Sacramento Seafood & Soul And Gumbolaya Festival takes place on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Hagan Community Park in Rancho Cordova. This is a family event that will have live music from "The Tempations Experience", as well as tons of food from gumbo to crab, snapper, and all kinds of delicious seafood. There will be a kids zone with inflatable rides and games.

Chug along the tracks of the Sacramento Valley Live Steamers for the Santa Train in Rancho Cordova during the 1st and 2nd weekend of December 2025. The train will take families to Santa's Oasis where children will get to meet and take photos with Santa. Bring a letter to Santa with a return address! Kids 2 and under are free.
Enjoy A Fresh Aire Holiday Concert with the Rancho Cordova River City Concert Band on Sunday, December 14, 2025. This free holiday concert will have the music of Manheim Steamroller and features the Cordova High School Choir.

Climb aboard a mini steam train that chugs through Hagan Community Park in Rancho Cordova every first weekend of the month from March through September. Train rides take place on Saturday & Sunday from 11am to 3pm; weather permitting.
