Harmony Across Time – A Purple Silk Concert

The Great Wall Youth Orchestra will perform live on traditional Chinese instruments in the California State Railroad Museum’s roundhouse on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

The performances will bring a multisensory experience to the museum as the music will be performed among locomotives on exhibit and the music will be heard throughout the museum.

Schedule:

• 11:30-12:30pm – Smaller performances will take place at different locations in the museum
• 1:30pm-2:30pm – The main performance will occur in the museum’s roundhouse
• 2:30-3pm – The audience can meet the students and observe the traditional Chinese instruments
