Launch into fun at Moon Day: Space Day! on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Aerospace Museum. The day will include space-themed activities, space jeopardy, and more family-friendly galactic adventures. Space-themed treats will be available in the museum cafe and dressing up as your favorite astronaut, alien, and space explorer is encouraged for a costume contest.
Summer Family Friday at The Crocker Art Museum is a monthly program for kids of all ages in June and August 2026 on the first Friday of the month. Each month will have a different theme and include hands-on art, live performances, and creative fun. Summer Family Friday is included with regular museum admission.
Prepare for kids to get dirty at Mess Fest at the Sacramento Children's Museum on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Kids are encouraged to dress for messy fun in either a swimsuit, play clothes, or rain boots. There will be sticky, gooey, messy, and dirty fun. A wash-off station will be available. A change of clothes is also recommended.
