Family Fun at Rancho Cordova Library

As part of Summer Reading at the Sacramento Public Library, the Rancho Cordova Library will have a kids activity every Friday from June 20 – August 1, 2025 at 1:30pm. Each week will be a different activity.

All Family Fun activities begin at 1:30pm, and are free.

The 2025 schedule and activities are below:

  • Friday, June 20 – Bingo; Play a summer-themed round of Bingo
  • Friday, June 27 – Raft Engineering; Test your engineering skills to see if you can build a raft that floats on water.
  • Friday, July 11 – Painting Without Brushes; Paint a masterpiece with everyday objects
  • Friday, July 18 – Binary Coding Necklaces; Design a necklace with your name or a secret word in code
  • Friday, July 25 – Hexbug Mazes; Create a maze from daily objects and see if a hexbug to move through it
  • Friday, August 1 – Straw Building; See what you can create and connect out of straws
