The Hope Community will host a free Back 2 School Block Party on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at McClatchy Park. There will be a kids zone with inflatable attractions, face painting, free haircuts, free hot dogs, community resources, and more.
Celebrate Oak Park will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at McClatchy Park. There will be food, music, community resources, giveaways, and more.
The Southside Santa Parade will kick off from McClatchy Park on Sunday, December 14, 2025. This free holiday event will have Santa visiting parks and schools in South Sacramento throughout the night. Families will be able to take free photos with Santa while enjoying a hot cocoa stand and Christmas carolers.
