Families can get up close to a variety of vehicles during City Works Day on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Folsom City Lions Park. This free, family-friendly event will have Folsom service vehicles and trucks, and activities.
As part of Folsom's 80th Celebration on Saturday, May 9, 2026, snail races will take place from 10am to 2pm. Participants will receive a commemorative snail race t-shirt at this family-friendly tradition. Youth may participate. Contests will also include best snail home presentation, best named, and best dressed snail handler.
Celebrate Folsom's 80th Birthday Celebration at a free community party on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Folsom City Lions Park. There will be entertainment, carnival games, and lots of family fun. The 1st 500 youth guests will also get free entry to the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary.
Folsom Family Pride takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2025. This family-friendly event will welcome all and celebrate community with activities, arts and crafts, live music, speakers, vendors, and more.
The Folsom Renaissance Faire & Joust takes place on September 27 & 28, 2025 at Folsom City Lions Park. All ages are welcome to attend this medieval adventure. There will be games, crafts, puppet shows, story telling, jousting tournaments, and characters from pirates to fairies.
