Izzy's Animal Rescue Festival will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Black Miner's Bar State Park on Lake Natoma. The festival will include animal presenters, animal exhibitors, animals available for adoption, live music, and food vendors. While the festival is free, there is a $10 vehicle entry free to get into the park.
NOTE: Trick-or-treat registration is closed for this event in 2025 which has reached max capacity. Witches on the Lake is a free family-friendly Halloween event taking place on October 18, 2025 at Black Miner's Bar. Dress up in witches hats and wizard costumes and get on the water in a stand-up paddleboard or kayak. Kids will get to trick-or-treat on the water at this unique Halloween event that supports the important cause of childhood cancer.
A free family-friendly Juneteenth Festival will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Black Miners Bar on Folsom Lake. The celebration will include many kid-friendly activities including a kids zone and petting zoo.
