Top Events in Sacramento for Kids This November 2025
There’s a lot to be thankful for in November. The month starts with Día de los Muertos, then transitions to the holiday season with tree lightings and the opening of ice skating rinks. In between, there are some fun events in Sacramento for kids in November.
The Sacramento History Museum will host Kids Day: Mini Minds in Motion, bringing together many Sacramento museums in one place. Celebrate Veterans Day at the Aerospace Museum, where kids can climb into aircraft cockpits. Mandarin season arrives, and with it comes a celebration by way of the Mountain Mandarin Festival.
If you want to start celebrating the holidays early, check out the annual Santa Storytime and Pajama Party at Arden Fair, and indulge in the Nutcracker Tea.

The Annual Winters Salmon Festival takes place on Saturday, November 1, 2025. This free family-friendly event honors the Fall-Run Chinook Salmon returning to Putah Creek. The festival will have activities for kids, vendors, live music, food trucks, and more.
Celebrate Día de los Muertos Community Night at the Sacramento Children’s Museum on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Kids will be able to add mementos to the museum’s ofrenda, enjoy face painting, interactive activities, and participate in a sugar skulls workshop for an additional fee.
A Day of the Dead Celebration will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Fairytale Town. There will be face painting, stories, and crafting sugar skull masks. Families can add mementos to the ofrenda. A special dance performance will take place at 12pm and 1:30pm.
Bring your pumpkins and send them flying at the Pumpkin Launch on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Jessie’s Grove Winery in Lodi. This is a family-friendly event. Pumpkins will be available to purchase for $3, or you can bring your own.
The Annual West Sacramento Día de los Muertos Celebration takes place on Sunday, November 2, 2025. This free community event will have crafts, games, an ofrenda (altar), Aztec dancers, a lowrider car show, vendors, and more.
Taylor Swift: Laser Concert Series will take place on Friday & Saturday, November 7 & 8, 2025 inside the UC Davis Multiverse Theater at MOSAC. This is a one-of-a-kind immersive music experience where full-dome lasers will be paired with Taylor Swift songs. Shows are an hour long.
Enjoy an fun morning in Arden Park with Mirabel from Encanto on Saturday, November 8, 2025. There will be a craft, songs, and a story. Treats and hot chocolate will also be provided. Photo opportunities with Mirabel will occur, and dressing up is encouraged.
