A bike parade will proceed from Heritage Plaza in Woodland on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 10am. Party in the Park at Freeman Park will begin after the parade until 12pm. There will be bounce houses, games, and free snow cones.
The annual Arden Park 4th of July Bike Parade kicks off at 10am on July 4, 2026. A family-friendly festival will take place after the parade back at Arden Park. There will be a kids zone with inflatables and live music.
Climb aboard the Stars and Stripes Express on Saturday, July 4, 2026 on the El Dorado Western Railroad. This will be a full size excursion train running on 4th of July. Trains will depart at 10am, 11:30am, and 1pm. Expect tickets to sell out quickly!

Boat rentals will be available by reservation on 4th of July at Lodi Boathouse from 12-7pm. Online reservations are required for rentals. Rentals will be available only for Lodi Lake; no river access. There will also be some restricted areas of the lake. Boat rentals between 12-4pm will need to be escorted by boathouse staff as there is no public access to the lake during this timeframe.
The Sacramento Yacht Club will have a boat parade on July 4, 2026 from 1pm to 3pm. The boat parade will float along the Sacramento River and begin at the Sacramento Marina. It will travel upriver through Old Sacramento to the Virgin Sturgeon and then return via the same route. The boat parade will be viewable from Old Sacramento.
Celebrate 4th of July at the pool! Free Swim Fest will take place at Woodland Aquatics Center on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 1-4pm. There will be a floating inflatable obstacle course. Admission is free.

The carnival will take place each day from 4-11pm and feature various amusement rides for kids of all ages. There will be a Ferris wheel, kiddie rides, and midway games. Celebrate 4th of July in Elk Grove at the Salute to the Red, White and Blue at Elk Grove Park. A drone show and fireworks show will take place at 9:40pm. There will be food trucks and a concert before the fireworks. This is a free event. Parking is $15 per vehicle.

The Lincoln Potters Baseball Club will take on the West Coast Kings on Saturday, July 4, 2026 for an Independence Day Fireworks Celebration. The baseball game will begin at 6:05pm. Gates open at 5pm. Fireworks will follow the conclusion of the game.

The Wonder Grove will have its monthly free Wiggle Worms on Sunday, July 5, 2026 with the theme of Campout Adventures at Whitey Boisclair Park in West Sacramento. There will be camping-themed activities including building tents, pretend campfires, "fishing" for fun, and more outdoor adventures. This is a free program for kids ages 1-9.
