The Wonder Grove will have its monthly free Wiggle Worms on Sunday, July 5, 2026 with the theme of Campout Adventures at Whitey Boisclair Park in West Sacramento. There will be camping-themed activities including building tents, pretend campfires, "fishing" for fun, and more outdoor adventures. This is a free program for kids ages 1-9.

The Yolo County Children's Alliance and Washington Unified School District will host its Annual Back-to-School Resource Fair on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at River City High School in West Sacramento. This free event will include free school supplies and backpacks, community resources, and hands-on activities. Backpack giveaways are for Yolo County residents and proof of Yolo County residency is required. Free backpacks and school supplies available while supplies last.
