Start Easter weekend at the free Bunny Hop on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at the Fountains at Roseville Courtyard. There will be a storytime at 10am, followed by bubbles, crafts, and dancing. 

Enjoy a free Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at the Creekside Town Center in Roseville. There will be Easter bunny meet and greets, face painting, balloon art, interactive crafts, and treat bags for kids, while supplies last. 

In honor of Big Boy No. 4014, the world’s largest steam locomotive, chugging into Roseville, train-themed storytimes will take place at the Downtown Library in Roseville on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 9:30am and 10:30am. 

Big Boy No. 4014 will chug into Roseville for the public to view on Friday & Saturday, April 10 & 11, 2026. Public display is free to display Big Boy and several historical passenger cars from Union Pacific’s Heritage Fleet. 

Catch the thrills and action at the A-All Mini Storage Monster Truck Bash on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the All American Speedway in Roseville. Two showtimes will occur at 2pm and 7pm, and both will have free pre-race parties 2 hours before the bash. Kids under 2 receive free admission. 

Enjoy Bubblemania, a free and fun bubble show for the whole family on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at the Maidu Community Center in Roseville. 

Get colorful at a free Rainbow Party on Friday, April 24, 2026 in Roseville. This free event will begin at the Project Play Playground (behind Riley Library) with chalk art, followed by a colored-powder party at Mahany Park. 

Attention, muggles! Enjoy a day of wizardry at Potterverse on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Maidu Community Center in Roseville. There will be wand making, house sorting, butterbeer, a quidditch course, live animals, fortune telling, and so much more magical fun.  Tickets are required and this event sells out fast! 

The annual Roseville Bikefest will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. This free event invites families to bring bikes and helmets to learn about biking safety. There will be a bike obstacle course, safety demonstrations on e-bikes, helmet fits, and bike safety checks.

A mini festival to kick off Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Culture Without Borders at the Maidu Community Center. This free event will have games, crafts, dance, and snacks. 

Head to The LEGO Store at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville to build a free LEGO Star Wars™ N-1 Starfighter™ Mini build to take home. This event takes plave from 12pm to 2pm and is intended for kids ages 10+. Limited supplies available. 

Roseville will celebrate the completion of Phase 1 of the Dry Creek Greenway East Trail at a Grand Opening on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The new trailhead is at 645 Riverside Avenue and is a paved, multi-use 2-mile trail. The ribbon cutting is at 10:15am. There will be family-friendly activities including a scavenger hunt, games, music, guided walks, a photo booth, community booths, and more.

Families can enjoy Spring Time in the Square on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Vernon Street Town Square in Roseville. There will be a kids zones, carnival games, inflatables, face painting, and more. 

Join Public Works in Roseville for a free bike storytime for kids on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. There will be a bike-themed storytime, crafts, and an obstacle course. Kids must bring their own bikes and helmets. Two times will occur at 9:30am and 10:30am. 

As part of Placer County's Heritage Trail, the Maidu Museum in Roseville will have free admission for all on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 10am to 4pm. There will be a scavenger hunt with prizes, guided tours (10am & 2pm), hands-on exhibits, and more. 

Meet and pet baby goats that help manage vegetation in Roseville parks at a free Goat Meet & Greet Pop Up on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Maidu Regional Park. This is a family-friendly event and a goat-themed storytime will occur at 10am.
