Families can attend the free Arden Fair Kids' Club Summer Program every Friday and Saturday from June 12 to July 25, 2026, from 1pm to 2pm. The free hour of kids' activities will include hands-on activities, performances, and games.
For just $1, families can enjoy a themed Family Swim Night on Friday, June 26, 2026 at the Cordova Community Pool. This week's theme will be mermaids and pirates. There will be games and family fun.
Youth ages 12-24 can attend the free NorCal Arts Sactown Youth Nights on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Pony Express Elementary. This Summer Arts Night will include free food from Chipotle, art stations, an open mic, henna, and more. This is a free event but pre-registration is required.

Celebrate America is an annual two-day festival in Rocklin taking place on June 26 & 27, 2026. Each night will conclude with a fireworks show at 8pm. Gates open at 6pm on both evenings. There will be a Family Fun Zone with games and prizes. There will also be music and food vendors.
Splash into a free Movie Night at North Natomas Aquatic Center on Friday, June 26, 2026. Free family swim will take place from 7pm to 8pm, before the movie begins. Shark Tale will be shown on the aquatic center lawn around 8:15pm or dusk. There will also be free popcorn and water. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Watch Zootopia under the stars on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Only Sunshine Sanctuary. Popcorn and refreshments will be provided. Guests can arrive at 8:30pm to meet the animals at the sanctuary before the movie begins at 9pm. $10 donation is requested. The sanctuary is a vegan property. You may bring your own food, so long as it's vegan.
Kids can participate in a free Bike Rodeo on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at District 56 in Elk Grove to practice bike skills and learn agility courses to ride a bike safely. Recommended ages are 5-12. Registration is required.
