Free Teen Art Club takes place on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Verge Center fort the Arts in Sacramento. February's theme is Black History Month. Short videos and films related to theme will be shown followed by a discussion, and crafts. Teen Art Club is for kids ages 14-18. While this is a free event, registration is required.
Head to Galt to celebrate winter wildlife at the free, family-friendly annual Winter Bird Festival on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at McCaffery Middle School. Take part in bird-watching walks, engaging crafts, and a live animal presentation where you can see birds and other wildlife up close.
If your kids love animals and aspire to be a veterinarian, they can attend a free Future Vet Academy on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Kids of all ages will get to rotate through vet stations and get a Future Vet Certificate from Sactown Vet. There will be swag bags, snacks, and drinks. No RSVPs are required for this free event.
Kids can enjoy a free storytime of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and make Valentine's Day cards on Friday, February 13, 2026 at the Arthur F Turner Community Library in West Sacramento.
