UC Davis Picnic Day

FreeThe annual UC Davis Picnic Day takes place on Saturday, April 12, 2025. This free, family-friendly event is a beloved tradition that features parades, hands-on exhibits, animal encounters, and a Children’s Discovery Fair across the UC Davis campus.
There are tons of activities for kids at the UC Davis Picnic Day! One of the highlights is the Children’s Discovery Fair which takes place on the Hoagland Lawn.

Additionally, there are tons of family-friendly exhibits for kids of all ages like slime making, a laser maze, and a Chemistry show. Various animal encounters will be taking place throughout the campus, like a petting zoo and a frisbee dog contest.
