The Nature of Reading Program

The Nature of Reading Program is a monthly series at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center that takes place on the second Saturday of each month from 10am to 11am.

Each month will be a different nature theme. The program will also include a story, and an interactive craft or activity. Animal ambassadors may even appear during some months.

This program is best for kids ages 5-8 years old. An accompanying adult must attend the event with children. Pre-registration for the event is recommended.

The theme for the month of March 2025 is Food Chains.
