Sacramento Book Festival

The Sacramento Book Festival will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Shepard Garden & Arts Center near McKinley Park in East Sacramento. The festival will have a kids zone and children’s book readings.
The Sacramento Book Festival will be from 10am to 4pm. The Kids’ Zone will be on the Main Patio and will open at 10am. There will be children’s book readings, balloon animals, and art projects.
While the schedule is subject to change, the Kids’ Zone schedule is (currently) below:
- 10-11:30am – Sharon Fujimoto-Johnson
- 11:30am-1:30pm – Brian Patrick Avery
- 1:30-2:30pm – Theresa Chao Rother, Cortney Cino
- 2:30-3pm – Kate McCarroll Moore
Bring a children’s book to donate to the Mustard Seed School children’s book drive. Books can be new or gently used.
