PSVRR: 4th July Weekend BBQ Express

$19 – $40Climb aboard the Placerville & Sacramento Valley Railroad (PSVRR) for a 4th of July Weekend BBQ Express train ride from Oak Station to Willow Springs in Folsom on July 5-6, 2025. Folsom Handcar Derby volunteers will pump your family down the track on an 1800s-style handcar ride!
A short and scenic train ride will take passengers to Willow Creek where a BBQ will be served.
Rail Motorcar Trip from Oak Station to Willow Springs for BBQ (typically 60-90 minutes total time)
The rail trip will take a total of approximately 60-90 minutes. Each motorcar departs the station every 30 minutes starting at 11am. Families are welcome to stay as long as they like when reaching Willow Springs.
Children ages 3 and under are free. Select “Lap Child” at the checkout. All tickets must be purchased in advance online. Tickets will not be sold in-person at the station nor the event.
The PSVRR boarding location is next to Family Fitness at 700 Oak Pkwy in Folsom. Parking is in the Family Fitness parking lot (on the side facing the tracks).
