Nature Day at The Hive

The Hive in Yolo County’s Woodland will have a free family-friendly Nature Day on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 11am to 5pm.

Nature Day will have interactive activities and learning opportunities that include:

• Nature scavenger hunt
• Honey tastings
• Live beehive observations
• Tour of pollinator garden
• Painting and crafts with natural dye
• DIY wildflower seed bombs
• Woodland Public Library Bookmobile
• Education about burrowing owls
• Plus, much more!

There will also be a special Nature Day event menu that includes:

• Grilled chicken sandwich
• Choripan
• Bumble beet salad
• Hummus & Babaganoush plate
• Vanilla bean gelato with wildflower honey chocolate ganache

A kids’ menu will include a grilled jumbo hot dog and a grilled cheese.
