Lunar New Year Fortune Run

The Lunar New Year Fortune Run is an annual event in Sacramento that honors the rich traditions of the Lunar New Year. This year’s race will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Sutter’s Landing Regional Park.

The race brings together a community that honors rich traditions of Lunar New Year. Mini lanterns will available at the finish line.

The Lunar New Year Fortune Run is on pace to sell out quickly. Race options include:

• 1-Mile Family Fun Run
• 5k
• 10k
• 13.1 half marathon

Race packets do not need to be picked up in advance. Swag will be shipped to runners before the race. Race bibs are provided on the day of the race. Note that this race does not have timing chips.

Races begin in three wave start times:

• Wave A: 7:30am
• Wave B: 8am
• Wave C: 8:30am
