The Annual Fair Oaks Chicken Festival returns on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The free family-friendly festival will have a kids’ park, live music, chicken decorating contest, food trucks, and more!

The Festival activities will include:

  • Chickenstock (live music)
  • Rocky’s Roost Kids’ Zone
  • Food trucks in the Feed Court
  • Cornhole Tournament
  • Cluck n’ Crow Contest
  • Chicken Decorating Contest
  • Vendors

A preferred parking option is available for $15 near the event entrance. Rocky’s Adventure Zone will have inflatables for kids. An unlimited inflatables wristband is $20 in advance, or $25 the day of the event.

The Fair Oaks Chicken Festival is one of the top fall festivals in Sacramento for kids.
