City of Trees Parade & Mardi Gras Festival

$10The City of Trees Parade celebrates Sacramento in a unique way in the format of Mardi Gras with a festival and parade on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
The festival is free for kids with an RSVP. Adults do need to pay in order to access the festival.
There will be plenty of kid-friendly activities at the festival that includes face painting, Bubble Man. a LEGO build, and more. Plus, there will be exciting entertainment like live aerial silk performances, parade act performances, and big floats to explore.
The schedule of events is as follows:
- 3-5pm – Festival on Capital Mall between 5th and 7th Street
- 5pm – Parade begins; The route begins on Capital Mall goes through the Festival Grounds and ends in Old Sacramento.
- 5:30-6pm – Parade arrives in Old Sacramento
- 7-9pm – Electric Light Dance Party back at the Capital Mall Festival Grounds
