California Duck Days

$25The family-friendly California Duck Days outdoor festival will take place at the Yolo Basin Foundation on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The festival will include many wetland-themed activities for kids, animals, arts and crafts, and more.
Interactive activities include:
- Duckling encounters
- Crafting tule duck decoys and toy boats
- Water quality testing
- Paint a wooden duck decoy
- Building wooden duck next boxes
- Pond exploration in the wetlands
- Dissecting owl pond pellets
- Animal Ambassadors (including bat ambassadors)
- Fly tying
- 90-minute Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area bus tour
- Duck and geese calling
- Hunting dog demonstrations (though note that pet dogs are not allowed at the event)
- 30+ Vendor booths
There is a $25 vehicle entry. Food trucks will be on-site at the event. Be sure to bring water and sunscreen.
