DESCRIPTION:The City of Trees Parade celebrates Sacramento in a unique way in the format of Mardi Gras with a festival and parade on Saturday\, February 28\, 2026. \nThe festival is free for kids under 16 with an RSVP.  Adults do need to pay in order to access the festival. \nThe schedule of events is as follows: \n\n3-5pm – Festival on Capital Mall between 5th and 7th Street\n5pm – Parade begins; The route begins on Capital Mall goes through the Festival Grounds and ends in Old Sacramento.\n5-6:30pm – Parade occurs (and will go into Old Sacramento)\n7-9pm – Electric Light Dance Party back at the Capital Mall Festival Grounds\n\n  \n
