DESCRIPTION:Climb aboard the Placerville & Sacramento Valley Railroad (PSVRR) for a 4th of July Weekend BBQ Express train ride from Oak Station to Willow Springs in Folsom on July 5-6\, 2025. Folsom Handcar Derby volunteers will pump your family down the track on an 1800s-style handcar ride! \nA short and scenic train ride will take passengers to Willow Creek where a BBQ will be served. \nRail Motorcar Trip from Oak Station to Willow Springs for BBQ (typically 60-90 minutes total time) \nThe rail trip will take a total of approximately 60-90 minutes. Each motorcar departs the station every 30 minutes starting at 11am. Families are welcome to stay as long as they like when reaching Willow Springs. \nChildren ages 3 and under are free. Select “Lap Child” at the checkout. All tickets must be purchased in advance online. Tickets will not be sold in-person at the station nor the event. \nThe PSVRR boarding location is next to Family Fitness at 700 Oak Pkwy in Folsom.
